Information Session

December 4

Event Navigation

If you are considering starting a business and are in receipt of a social welfare payment, you may be eligible to start a business and continue to receive all or part of payment for up to two years.
The amount you receive & length of time on scheme will depend on the type of payment you’re on & how long you’ve been in receipt.

These schemes are called the Back to Work Enterprise Allowance & Short Term Enterprise Allowance.

To prepare people for applying for these schemes we run information sessions to go through what is involved in the application process.
If you wish to apply for either scheme, you just attend a two-day information session prior to organising a one-to-one meeting with our Enterprise Dept team. We will go through how you can qualify for the schemes, how you apply and what you will be expected to do to get approved onto the scheme.

You can book and pay for all courses at www.bapie/enterprisetraining
It is advisable to do so well in advance as all workshops fill up quickly, to secure your place you should prepay as soon as possible, either through the BAP website via PayPal or cash in either Dillon House, Coolmine Dublin 15 or The Beat Centre, Balbriggan (Tuesdays or Thursdays). €5 Per day, all workshops times are 9.30am sharp-1.00pm
